What we collect
- Estimate form: the name, phone number, email, city and project details you enter, the page you sent it from, and how you arrived: the website or campaign that sent you and the first page you saw here.
- Planning tools and email copies: the answers you give a checker when you send it to us, and the email address you ask us to send a checklist or estimate to. We send that one email and don't add you to a mailing list.
- Chat: the messages you send, our replies, the pages you viewed on this site, how you arrived, and any contact details you give. An AI writes the replies and its answers can be wrong, and our team can read a chat and reply in it. We don't keep your IP address or browser details with a chat. We use a one-way hash of your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent, and delete it within a few days. Chats with no contact details are deleted 90 days after the last message, and chats where you ask us to follow up after 24 months.
- Phone calls: when you call us we may note your name, number, what you need and how you found us, and what you decide to go ahead with.
- Yard-sign QR codes: when you scan a sign we record which sign was scanned, the time, your browser type and a one-way hash of your IP address that changes daily. We use this to count scans, not to identify you.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type with form submissions, used to prevent spam and abuse.
- Your browser: the chat keeps your conversation in this browser tab until you close it or press End chat. The site stores how you arrived (for example, which yard sign) in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days.
How we use it
Only to respond to you about your project, to understand which signs and pages bring in inquiries, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your information.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting, database and the AI model behind chat replies) and Amazon Web Services (email delivery). They process data on our behalf to run these features. The marketing partner who runs this website also receives inquiries, to track which efforts bring them in.
